No "SPEZI 2020 in Germersheim" but online!
Dear SPEZI Visitors,
Virtual SPEZI 2020
Dear SPEZI Friends,
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s special bikes show has been cancelled; not only on the traditional date in April but also on the back-up date in August.
We would nevertheless like to invite you to get together, as always, on the last weekend in April to celebrate and enjoy the diversity, creativity and originality of the special bike sector – at a virtual SPEZI! Many of the SPEZI exhibitors will be taking part, some of them with great videos created especially for the virtual show, and our website will also be appearing in a new design: during the original SPEZI weekend of 25 and 26 April, you can visit the very first Virtual SPEZI of the century, via the SPEZI website!
Of course, it is not possible to mosey around the show grounds or ride the bikes on the SPEZI test tracks, but instead you can sit back and take your time to find out all about the models offered by the different exhibitors and delve into the details of whatever interests you in particular.
Watch the presentation videos, or go back in time and relive the beginnings of the SPEZI in our photo gallery. And if you like, you can even get together for a little reunion with other SPEZI friends: on both days of the Virtual SPEZI, there will be a Zoom Room at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.; you can join by phone, smartphone or PC.
The Virtual SPEZI will be online until 31 May 2020 at least, but you can watch some of the presentation videos on 25 and 26 April only. Look forward to seeing you!
Your SPEZI Team
P. S.:The Virtual SPEZI is an experiment which took shape within the shortest period of time. Please excuse us that most of the virtual show has not been translated into other languages. However, for all of you who do not understand German, there are two outstanding videos in English on the presentations page (click Vorträge) that are absolutely worth seeing. A lot of the image and video material provided by the exhibitors has no language content, and several exhibitors (e.g. Haberstock Mobility, AZUB, HP Velotechnik, Podbike, RadicalDesign, Santana, Utopia, Velo:RE and Ventisit) have sent English videos for our Virtual SPEZI. English contributions are also more than welcome at the zoom meetings!
